Canes expands into the Kansas City Metro area, solidifying baseball with experienced
leadership, additional teams and 24×7 access to a 17,000 square ft. facility with full
weight room access for its players. Canes have a baseball history that is unmatched from
player development resources to college placement for 20 years. We are thrilled to
announce Travis Lewis as the Canes KC Director. Lewis comes to us from the KBA
baseball organization. We have merged the organization with the existing Canes KC
teams in place. Lewis brings a competitive mindset, passion for baseball and an
approach to player development that is in alignment with the Canes overall mission.

We know the talent in Missouri is deep and we are excited to have a leader joining the
Canes Great Plains team that brings experience leading and developing players since for
well over a decade. Canes have a growing strong presence in St. Louis and we are
excited to add to Missouri with the addition of the existing talent of Kansas Baseball
Academy.

For those interested in joining the Canes Kansas City team, whether as a player, coach,
or an existing team, feel free to reach out to us. Our local coaching staff has been
expanded and includes all former collegiate players. We are currently hosting private
tryouts and will offer a workout at the new facilities this month. Welcome to Canes!
