EvoCanes 2017 MIF McLendon Sears commits to South Carolina

Evoshield Canes 2017 MIF and Wilson Hall (SC) product McLendon Sears has committed to South Carolina and Head Coach Chad Holbrook. During 2015 Sears played under the guidance of Head Coach Billy Sylvester on the South 2017 team. EvoCanes GM Dan Gitzen had this to say about Sears. “McLendon Sears fits a very successful mold that South Carolina has established when looking for gritty, gamer-type middle infielders that produce everyday at a high level. Sears can really run and REALLY glove it at a high level with plus arm strength. At the plate he is an on base machine who uses the whole field and his constantly making things happen when he gets on bases. McLendon will do very well when he gets to South Carolina as he can play 3 infield positions and hit successfully throughout any ppoint in the line up.” We would like to congratulate McLendon and the Sears family on his commitment to South Carolina.
