Canes 10U & 11U CVA Fall 2023 Tryouts – June 4
On June 4, 2023 we will be holding tryouts for our 10U (currently 9U turning 10U in fall) and 11U (currently 10U turning 11U in fall) for the 2023 Spring Season
These teams will both be coached by myself in combination with my professional paid staff and parent volunteers. Practices for both teams will occur on the same day to ensure
Throughout the summer season we will participate in a 8 week off-season development (1-2 sessions per week) at starting in July 2023
In the Fall our players will gather and practice 1-2x per week, and play a combination of tournaments & doubleheaders around the ability to fully participation in their local league programs if they so choose
All Travel tournaments and activities will take place between the months of Sept – early Nov
Uniforms, equipment and tournament fees are covered through a fundraising model provided by the program to the parents of the players. Travel to and from tournament or discounts will be the responsibility of the parents of the players
In 2023 we began a new partnership with Under Armour, Rawling and GForm. This will allow our families to purchase these products at discounted rates on Rawlings & Easton equipment, UnderArmour apparel & equipment and GForm protective gear all off their online websites.
Additionally the Canes Baseball is a founding partner of the Diamond Allegiance. The Diamond Allegiance is a partnership of baseball programs across the USA dedicated to providing an online player development community driven by college and professional instructors. In addition to the Diamond Allegiance’s development platform families of the Canes Baseball program receive access to an exclusive savings platform that allows families large discounts on food, retail and travel purchases that will reduce the total spend of travel baseball and your everyday life.

Team Details:
10U Players must not turn 11 prior to May 1, 2024.
11U Players must not turn 12 prior to May 1, 2024.
Canes 10U & 11U CVA (2 separate teams) will participate Summer Skill Development, Speed & Mobility session as well as a Winter Hitting & development workouts will be scheduled for those players participating in the Spring 2024 season over the months of December, Jan & February going into the spring of 2024. Starting in late February the team will participate in 2-3 team activities per week starting through May of 2024 (practice/games). Additionally players will participate in local weekend DH’s & at least one tournament per month through the months of March, April & May of 2024
What to bring: Players should dress as they would for a baseball game and bring any equipment needed to be properly evaluated
